How to Download the HikConnect App

In this guide we will show you how to download the HikConnect App and create an account with Hikvision. There are differences between Apple and Google so please select you device type below.

Downloading the HikConnect app for Apple users is very simple as the App is available in the AppStore.

Follow the steps below to download the HikConnect App for Apple:

1. On the device you wish to download the app to locate the AppStore and open it 
2. Type HikConnect into the search bar
3. Select the HikConnect App and download

You may need to enter your password or scan your fingerprint for the download as with any app. 

You are now ready to create a Hikvision Account

How to download the HikConnect App for Android users (Google)

Downloading the HikConnect app for Android users is slightly more complex, this is because Hikvison have removed the application from the Google Play Store. 

This appears to be a political decision and is certainly not a reflection of the functionality of android app.

Follow the steps below to download the HikConnect App for Android:  

1. On the device you wish to download the app to locate your preferred internet browser and open it.
2. In the search bar of the browser type https://appstore.hikvision.com/ or simply click the link.
3. Once you are in the app store press the download button next to the Hik-Connect for End user app.
4. Download the file.
5. Once the file is downloaded, select it to open, you will be asked if you want to install the HikConnect App. Press Install. 
6. Once it is finished press Open and agree to the terms and conditions.

How to create a Hikvision account

u can create a Hikvision Account with either your mobile number or email address. You will need to verify your account to be able to use the app so make sure you have access to either when you are setting the account up. 

1. In the HikConnect App Login Page you will see small 'Register' written in blue (as in the image above) select this and agree to the terms. 
2. Next select your country and press the tick in the top right. 
3. The default page take you to account creation by email address, enter your email and password of choice. If you want to register using a mobile number click on the 'Register by Phone Number' at the bottom of the page.
4. Once you have created the account a security code will be sent to your email (or phone number). Enter the code into the HikConnect App. 

​ All done your account is now set-up and you can begin to use the app.
